What is the DDD Elite Team Philosophy
As we enter our 27th successful season we take great pride in the fact the our schools solid reputation has been built on an understanding that our artistic team has the knowledge to determine the best approach for our students. We encourage parental support of your child, the studio and your child’s dance team. It isn’t about doing solos, or winning trophies: It is about motivating dancers to be team players striving for excellence for the good of themselves and their dance team. We encourage a healthy attitude concerning competition and utilize it as a tool for education. We encourage team work among our dancers. Elite members not only become good dancers but make life long friendships. They also learn the rewards of hard work and discipline and they vastly improve their social and communication skills on many different levels.
DDD Elite will perform annually at regional competitions and at numerous local productions including area parades. Elite team members are also featured performers in the DDD annual recital. By performing often, an Elite member’s level of self confidence builds quickly. Not only do Elite members perform, they have the opportunity to attend master dance classes and regional workshops with nationally renowned instructors that allow the dancers to see the world of dance outside of their home town. The DDD pre-professional dance program is about teaching lessons that will last a lifetime: dedication, determination, and an understanding of what hard work can accomplish.
