Charlie DuHadway is teaching hip hop this week at DDD’s Summer Workshop. Classes are offered for ages 7-9 from 6:00-6:45 and for ages 10-12 from 6:45-7:45.
Charlie started class today explaining the process of learning hip hop or any type of dance. “In order to write a word, you have to know the letters. The letters individually come together to form the word, but you have to know how each of the letters work. In dance, you learn steps. By the end of the week, those steps will be put together to form a really cool dance.”
And, with that being said, Charlie turned on the music and the kids started working on the first step.
