Miss Brooke is a 2015 graduate of Alma High School. She knew at a very young age she had a passion for dance.
Brooke began dancing at DuHadway Dance Dimensions at the Ithaca studio at the age of six and began competing on the DDD Elite Competitive Team at the age of seven.
She was also a teacher assistant throughout middle school and high school; that is where she realized her love for teaching dance. She studied jazz, tap, musical theatre, ballet, and pointe.
Her classical ballet training includes achieving Grade V Professional in the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet.
Throughout her dance career, she attended various master classes under the direction of Stacy Paydo, Thommie Retter, Dedrick Anthony, Dee Caspary, Elizabeth Parkinson, and many more. She also attended countless competitions, workshops, and camps including Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, The Great Lakes Dance Festival, WCDE, Shock the Intensive, and performed at the Palace of Auburn Hills for the Pistons Pregame show.
Brooke received scholarships to further her dance education at Shock the Intensive, Inside Chicago, and Break the Floor Productions. In her senior year of high school, she was awarded 1st place overall for her solo and Miss Legacy Runner-Up at the Legacy Dance Competition.
Brooke had the honor of being accepted to the Department of Dance at Western Michigan University. Recently, her focus changed and she returned home to pursue a career in physical therapy. Her love for dance did not fade and she is very excited to return to DDD to share her love and passion for dance with the community.
